Come. Let's sit awhile and speak our heart. All are welcome here. My hope for the friends who come and go through out the day, is that a spirit of Peace, Power, Balance, and Caring should be present within the fire and those who gather in a Sacred Circle around it.

There are Fire-Starters such as myself. Then there are Fire-Tenders such as yourself within my Prayer Circle. Wopilatichelo Tanka... Toksa.... O' Great Spirit, You who is above me, around me, and within me. Speak softly and send your words on the wind to my brothers. Send blessings and great wisdom on the rain to my sisters. Let the winged ones and four-legged ones speak well of my friends. We believe in the balance and harmony of Mother Earth. Teach us to have faith in our own personal balance and harmony. Work your miracles through all those who enter here. Reveal your vision for us when the time is right to do so. Be with those who have special need; those in pain for their people. Catch them when they fall and ease their struggle to find the right path.

Behold this never-ending circle. Make it strong to stay unbroken. Izzy aka Shatoewee Bless the true fire starter and make him stronger, may he always be remembered.

 The Meaning of Shatoewe

Shatoewe is an Iroquois Indian Word for Turtle

The Turtle is my Totem

I use the name on the internet because it is unique!

Being a turtle requires that an individual

Be of the highest of moral standards

Born to the noblest of  all mankind

Chosen to belong to the Earth's Association of Turtles,

of  which I am a proud member.
